German Translation Service Describes Old German Kurrent Script

Most people have no idea that the German language has several differnt types of script.  For example, Kurrent, or Kurrentschrift, is a type of German script that was popular until 1941, according to a popular German Translation service.  Many schools taught Kurrent up until the 1960s, but the writing style essentially died during the Third Reich, when the government attempted to unify German writing style.  Surprisingly, even young native German speakers are not normally able to decipher Kurrent or some of the other old German scripts.  Therefore, in order to translate Kurrent or other old German scripts it is necessary to use a professional German translation service that employs linguists with specialized training.
