The Gallery where Frank went

Monday, February 22nd, 2010

On Tuesday afternoon I was having some trouble with my wireless modem that I had just bought four days before. I wound up just hard wiring my laptop and working that way. The problem is that I didn’t have a very long cord and I was restricted to moving on my Danish style chair. I wound up calling my good friend Frank to see if he had any ideas on how to solve my dilemma. His wife ended up answering the phone and told me that Frank was down at a Gallery NYC exhibit and would be back around seven. I told her to have him give me a call.

The wedding photographers I thought about while in line

Sunday, February 21st, 2010

On Tuesday morning around nine o’clock I walked into the DMV office in Laguna Niguel. I had somehow lost my drivers license and I needed to replace it. The primary reason I needed to replace it right away was the fact that I had to do some traveling by plane and having a license is almost a requirement these days. While I was in line at the DMV I thought about the wedding photographers that my sister had recently hired to record my nephew’s upcoming wedding. This will be my nephew’s second marriage and hopefully last marriage, thankfully I think it will be.

Taking Your Guitar Playing To the Next Level

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

I have been playing guitar for over 10 years now.  I would say that I am pretty proficient at what I do.  However, there are always ways that I can improve.  I just recently got online and took some worship guitar lessons.  I was very surprised to find out some tricks and things that I could incorporate immediately into this weeks set.  It was a real eye opener for me.  I would say that this service is good for the beginner guitar player as it is good for the veteran shredder.  I might even say that it’s better for the veteran.

Playing Celtic Harps For My Parents

Thursday, February 11th, 2010

I am a big fan of sweet and romantic music. I know that some people prefer loud music, and I respect their preference. And because of my love for mellow sound, I decided to learn how to play Celtic harps. It took me a very short time to learn how to play the instrument. I realized that as long as you are interested in what you are doing then you will not have any difficulty in being good at it. I am thankful that my parents are also very supportive in the things that I do. I will be part of a musical show next month, and I am very busy preparing for it. I want my parents to be very proud of me.

Craft Making Supplies from UK

Tuesday, February 9th, 2010

My spouse has started making crafts in the house with the hopes of customers looking to buy them so then she may make a case for opening an enterprise from the house. Right now the chief problem she has is determining where to get her materials. She’s in need of somewhere that has lots of variety but is realistic as far as the price is concerened. I sent her to Liz’s Crafts webpage on-line. It’s got a large amount of Craft Making Supplies and since the site is based in another country, there are several options which are not typically as familiar as they would be here in the USA.

She is Smart and Talented

Saturday, January 30th, 2010

I have always known that my daughter was smart and talented, but it wasn’t until she started playing the guitar that I learned just how capable she was of just about anything. It has only been two years since her first lesson, but already her teacher says she has surpassed every other student she’s ever taught. The next thing she wants to do is learn to play blues guitar, and I have no doubt that she will pick up on it just as quick. The only problem is, her teacher says that it won’t be long before she passes up what she can teach her. We are going to have to start looking for someone else pretty soon.

Learning Guitar

Saturday, January 30th, 2010

In an attempt to further my basic guitar playing knowledge I decided to google learn guitar software. I was pleasantly surprised that guitar software even existed. I was also curious how software could teach someone to play guitar. I continued investigating the claim and found out some interesting things for instance, the courses can be provided as a download, or on a “hard” CD, they also offer help should I need any by supplying tons of information on their website about guitar playing.

The idea of learning to play an instrument via software never occurred to me. I assume that in today’s day and age personal instruction of anything will become obsolete and the computer will teach us, at least that leaves very little room for error.
