The United States is the country that spends most on the Halloween costumes including halloween contacts. As the entire country gets together in the celebrations that take place on October 31st every household spends some money on the costumes of their children. In the year 2006 Americans were to spend $ 4.6 billion on Halloween costumes which averaged a little over $ 38 per family in the country. It appears that the amount they spend is going to increase though a temporary dip is possible due to the economic downturn. However majority of this money is spent for the pleasure of the children.
