It’s important that you know how to perform these basic nursing assistant tasks because it shows you know how to operate equipment and assist patients properly. Certification exams will vary by state and each state may do things a little differently, but all states require a passing score to become a registered CNA.
Once the exam is successfully passed, the student will be registered as a certified nursing assistant in their state. Some states may give you a certification card, but not all states will do that.
