The chiropractor who is going to be my mom
My mother started doing some things last year that kind of surprised me, well maybe surprise is too strong as word. My mother had been a wife and mother her whole adult life and she had wanted to make some changes. Over dinner one night last year she announced that she was going to go back to school and become an Austin chiropractor. Everybody in the family was stunned and at the same time very happy with her decision. I think she was inspired by her own mother who went back to school when she was close to sixty and got a degree.
