Dieting tips for Hiatal hernia patients

People suffering from a hiatal hernia should divide their 3 large meals into 6 small meals. They should not be taking water along with their meals, it should be taken half an hour before or after meals. They should include following food in their hiatal hernia diet:

- Whole grain cereals - Lots of fruits and vegetables fresh juices, especially carrot juice is very good to counter the acidity of stomach. - buttermilk, cottage cheese , whole grain brown bread can be taken for breakfast. - lunch and dinner should include lots of fresh fruits and vegetables cooked in only a little oil and not spicy.
