Paternity tests are very helpful for fathers who do not know their children are. My long time girlfriend left me when she was pregnant. I am uncertain if the child she bore was mine because she kept it a secret. She left me hanging on the balance. After being away for two years, she went back to our city. I saw her with a baby boy. She was already married to a lawyer by that time. I asked her if the baby boy is my child, but she said no. I was certain that the boy is mine because his physical features really resembled mine. I asked her to do a paternity test and she agreed. It was proven by the test that the boy is indeed my child.
