BE AWARE OF THE FACT NOT FICTION
Excessive credit card debt was ruining my friend’s finance and straining her relations with her husband; she was so overwhelmed by the debt that she was desperately looking for lenders so that she could quickly pay off her debt. I made her aware of the fact that most Debt Consolidation programmes have 60 month term. There are many non profit companies claiming to pay off the debt in less time, which is only possible through “debt settlement” where a large amount is paid to reduce some of the debt but it may reflect negatively on credit report. The moral of the story is to be aware that debt consolidation will take time.
