Taking Care Of Kids In Times Of Financial Instability
Vincent and Hyun had three children. One of them was six, and the other two were twins aged four. Hyun recently lost her job and was having difficulty finding another. After some discussion, Vincent and Hyun decided to visit the child benefit office to find out if they were eligible to take advantage of child benefit. After filling out some forms, they were told to expect a call from the office within a few days. A week or two later, someone from the child benefit office called and informed them that yes, they were eligible, and that they should expect their first payment within the week. Vincent and Hyun were overjoyed, as this meant that they could still take proper care of their children even while Hyun was still in between jobs.
