The fatal Iran Air Incident
Iranian Caspian Airlines flight 7908 from Tehran to Yerevan crashed 16 minutes from departure. A total of 168 passengers and crew were killed in this accident. Investigations show that the pilot may have been trying to do an emergency landing after the aircraft showed signs of malfunction. Witnesses were quoted to have seen the airplane explode upon impact near the village of Jannat-Abad village in Iran.
The Iranian government was believed to have conducted investigations on the cause of this mishap. Search teams are looking for the recordings of the flight wreckage.
No matter how much airline companies try to look for answers on incidents like this we can never be truly sure what causes these malfunctions to trigger. The only resolve we could rely on is that the airline industry submit to much stricter airplane safety policies to ensure the safety of its passengers.
