The whole family needed a vacation
I have to admit that the kids weren’t the only ones looking forward to our hotel accommodation taupo as we really needed a break and a change of scene for a few days as well. I’m not sure how restful it will be as the kids always want to be out doing things at the lake but it’s great to see them having such a fun time. The resort we are staying has huge grounds and tennis courts so there is plenty for them to do there, which hopefully means that we might even get the chance to sit down for half an hour or so and have a bit of quiet time.
